status as a blogger for Deadspin probably doesn’t warrant a response

If my co workers were in a salary litigation I wouldn’t comment either. Also, did you consider your status as a blogger for Deadspin probably doesn’t warrant a response?

Sorry Deadspin, but in the US soccer world, ur only slightly better than TMZ.

This should be criticism. It was not even addressed in the story. Nor was there any discussion about the nuances about the situation.

With the caveat that I’m relatively new to following F1 and don’t really understand the rules, or what a recovery is SUPPOSED to look like, on first viewing, it looked a lot like he caught himself, and made a quick jerk to make sure Hamilton couldn’t come by.

Vettel’s mistake did. No mistake, no penalty

Thank you! The way he moves over to block Hamilton after getting off the grass is so shitty. It’s something you see online in Project Cars 2.

Agreed as well. I watched the steering input of Vettel and came to the same conclusion that the stewards did. Vettel is just mad because he didn’t get away with it.

I know I’m in the minority but I agreed with the call. Vettel made a mistake and had regained control of the car before heading back on to the racing line to block Hamilton. If you haven’t regained control of your car you don’t go back to power which Vettel clearly did.

IDK, any decision you make could be questioned and in need justification, no matter how big or small the decision is.

Wrong.

They wouldve had to justify it either way, to either ferrari fans or mercedes fans.

Hope they release the CCTV footage. I’m going to look at the F1TV onboard from Vettel’s car myself when I get the chance.

pretty sexist to describe a 28 year old female journalist as a child

Chill, child.

Then leave. If you aren’t enjoying the best season in recent memory you don’t know the sport.

Counterpoint. Having two cars creates strategy when the racing isn’t doing it. Today’s race was brought to you by a meh track, lack of competition and reliance on aero. Manufacturers will bail if they have only one car - racing is about the money and more cars = more branding.

Verstappen charge through the field was great and Hamilton’s move on Vettel quite excellent too.
