Its a Mazda thang. All RX7s (except 79/80, the best years) have this issue with the plastic bumper covers. Even FDs.

Excellent story! Stoopid beige car owners.
Should have had a Jeep!
Not a big drift fan but great pictures Kristen. Next time go slow on the writing, lots of small errors that became distracting.
If they just brought back small pickups and not with back seats for cheap. Its what we all want, am I right?
Thats true, it runs quite a way in towards St. Louis.
CP, these are not as collectible as the earlier 240, 260 and 280 Zs. They are examples of a sports car turned into a bloated, ugly, touring car with no soul. Ugly, ugly, ugly.
Grew up in Manchester. What road is this on and why would they be in manchester if they were on their way home?
They don’t, its as simple as that. All the cars have the exact same shape and aero. NASCAR hasn’t been stock cars since the 60s.
This car in its original form at this age is worth maybe, $4,000.00. Then you add the modifications, which you can’t expect to get any money for. Easily a crack pipe at 24990. Just cause you dumped a bunch of money in a car you can’t expect to get it back. CP!
Eco whatever, you knew what I meant. Or maybe I meant SkyActive? No, thats not right, Ford is no longer a controlling interest in MAZDA.
Had one of these new from 1993. It lived a hard life in PA for years and then made its way down to NC. I finally drove it to pull-a-part in 2012 because it was losing parts in the driveway from all the rust. It had 274,000 miles on it.
If I could give more stars I would. If Ford came out with the original Ranger with an EcoTec 4 banger in a very small size like the original I would trade my 2007 F150 to get it.
Yes. You should add a poll like NP/CP.
Don’t go anywhere!
Get a bigger dog!
For a small ca company like MAZDA, they had to use the parts bin for a lot of the cars parts. Did you know that the center console in the SA RX7s is the same as the ones used in the 1st gen Miata? Its true, I was able to buy a Miata cupholder to replace the ashtray in my car.
So much rotary love today on Jalopnik. Please don’t stop!
LOL
You said a lot of stupid things about this car in regards to safety and handling. I won’t detail them here. You are redeemed however for showing us such a nice example of RX7. Thanks for the rotary love!
