Better put any state in appalachia on your list as well which includes most of the western parts of the mid-atlantic states. Bears are all over the mountains and even down by the coast sometimes.

It used to be the case that for rotary engines synthentics were a no-no because they didn’t burn well and left a lot of by products as they burned in combustion. Modern synthetics are supposed to work ok in a rotary but I still use 20W50 dyno oil in mine.

This is BS. The rotary is still a 4 stroke engine but it does burn oil as part of the lubrication of the rotor housings and seals.

Hmmm, I usually agree with your posts but not today, not ever when it comes to a rotary. Even an ugly 2nd gen vert which I do not personally desire.

Woah! Timing light and vacuum gauge, those are some old skool tools for sure. I have both and they are 20+ years old at least. Very useful for diagnosing many ailments in a carbed motor. I think you are on the right path now.

When I saw this launch I was curious what engine they would come up with to drive it. I mean, its a lot bigger than a Forrester or any other subie.

I agree, HUDs are crap. Noen of my cars have em and if any new ones have em I must be able to turn them off or not buy the car.
