Exactly, the NTSB is trying to figure out what to do about lithium batteries and the dangerous fires they cause when damaged in an accident. I expect new regs to come out that mfgrs will have to follow for shielding or containing the batteries to prevent fires.

I have an oil filter wrench thats a nylon strap fastened to a 1/2 in square tube that a 1/2 in ratchet can fit in. Haven’t found a filter yet I can get that on to and cinch it tight and spin it off. Looks like this:
