Love the film commentary. Back in the day I was the photog for my college paper. Imagine shooting 400 speed film B&W 35mm at night to capture football games or getting those great basketball shots in the gym. Digital wasn’t even invented yet. Many hours spent in the darkroom developing film and breathing vapors not

I see a 79 RX7, yeah. Feeling the rotary love today!

I was using some performance pads on my RX7, Hawk HP or HP+, can’t remember now. They worked great in the mountains but squealed like pigs and produced prodigious amounts of dust. I got some Centric ceramics and haven’t looked back. No noise, no dust and same performance even pushing them in the mountains.

Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance.

I have nephew in Japan that does exactly these kinds of translation jobs for japanese clients. Very good work it seems.

Hmm, he hasn’t cashed in yet. Its all fictional until he banks it by cashing out.

Shes just starting out, those things are expensive.

DOT 5 is silicone and doesn’t have a very high boiling point. It wont stand up to any persistent brake use. Ask me how I know.

I have a much simpler solution. Get a piece of vinyl, like the stuff used for numbers on race cars, and cut out a circle. When the sun gets to be a problem slap the vinyl on the spot until you don’t need it. You can even move it around as needed.

Look at the cone filter, red shifty knob, shiney break pedals, faux carbon fiber on the dash, its in NYC, the tires look almost bald.

GOOP is the my go-to for removing any stain, including wine. My wife keeps a container in her laundry for just this reason. It works better than Gojo or any of the other copy cats that came along after GOOP. I also happened to have known the inventor of GOOP, he was my neighbor back when I was a kid. You can’t go
