Really the issue is that Dale didn’t grow up around snow. Just cuz Dale hit a tree doesn’t mean its unsafe to drive. My wife was out all day in the snow driving around with no issues here in Charlotte.

The only time to do it is when there is freezing rain, ice or sleet. In those cases leaving them up makes it a lot easier to clean the windshield.
