This has happened twice to the startbucks near my house as well. Whats is it with running into starbucks anyway?

Interesting fact, back in the 80s these shared a lot of the underpinnings used in the rx7. In fact I used to watch someone autocross one and be very competitive with it. It was boring looking then too.
COTD. Post it now!
A star for you. I came here for this. I prefer SA because I have one and many of the parts are NLA even from MAZDA.
Have a star for mentioning the RX7.
Just said the same thing before scrolling here. Have a star on me!
They should offer this for the Rx7s, in fact all the rotaries. Just sayin!
Wheres the rotary comparison? 3 moving parts FTW.
1st gen RX7, will never be disappointed!
Star for driving your 84 RX7 to work sir!
I watched this thing twice! I love being able to hear so clearly the navigators instructions, just wish I understood the nomenclature better.
It was a professional that did it for Mazdas ZoomZoom magazine. I wasn’t sure I liked the shot at first but its grown on me now.
This is the only article I found worth reading so far today. Great article David.
Thats a Festiva, made by Kia motors for Ford. I know because I had one for 10 years and 174K miles before it rusted to death. Great commuter car and a lot more fun to drive than you would think. Also got 40MPG no matter how you drove it.
Be Americun, get a Ford F150 manual. I got mine from CarMax, a 2007 F150 XL V6 5 speed for 11K back in 2012. Its never let me down yet. Also its the last year for a manual from Ford in an F150.
David, this is a great starter for you. The carbs are easy to rebuild and modify (Hehe) and the rest of the car is really clean. At $2500 thats a very reasonable starting point and you can probably negotiate that down a bit as well.
Rotary FTMFW all the way! These are cool conversions and it also has the 4 wheel drive which a lot of tools don’t do when they do the 12A swap.
Its just a 2000 Jeep XJ, even where I live it still has to pass safety and smog inspections. I don’t see this as old enough to be considered a barn find. Its in nice shape and all, but collectible? Not sure about that. Maybe to jeep heads.
For giggles I always pick up Hemmings to see how many 1st gen RX7s are in it. If there are more than 2 its a rarity. I have to agree, their audience is an older crowd and they need to get with the times or die trying. Now if you go to BT, for instance, and did the same study it would be interesting.
I see another way this could have gone. Airing up the tires, hitching it to your jeep and towing it home. But it didn’t, probably because your red one would have died in tow and your a nice guy. Good job!
