If they would just make a mini pickup truck again that size, I would trade my F150 for it. Ford are you listening?

You folks forget that not everything from the 80s was crap, just US made cars were crap. The japanesecars of the 80s were the best thing to get back then, reasonable performance, better mileage, ph and much higher reliability.
This is only an issue with electric, submersed fuel pumps for the most part. If you have a mechanical fuel pump its not an issue for the pump ever. Its a modern car issue. Showing a 60s era gauge is misleading at best for this article.
CP because its a 4 door with a vinyl roof. Now if it was a 2 door grabber ...
I had an 86 Mitsu Might Max back in the day, no AC, base model. It was a pretty capable small truck and it got decent MPG.
This area started flooding on a regular basis when there is heavy rain in the last 20 years. All the development in and around the area has created a storm water runoff nightmare for all the businesses up and down this road. I lived in the burg for about 20 years (80s into the 00) and watched it happen. Pretty good…
So is the swap being done with 12A or 13B rotors and housings? I’m curious because I know they make custome 4 rotor eccentric shafts for 12As down under but wasn’t sure they made em for 13Bs.
I don’t go to the bricks and mortar parts stores unless they:
Ok David, I knew we could convince you. You need to buy one and get it ready and go to some key rotary meets like DGRR and 7Stock. Look em up, its jalopnik heaven for rotaries at both.
David you need to get one. Its the coolest engine in the world, bar none.
Why deface an RX-7 when he could have just had a Yota staright up?
David you need one of these and so does Andrea:
Its mostly to clean up the look and to provide some shielding from water spray messing with the electrical bits now under them on modern cars. Maybe some NVH as well.
It doesn’t really hurt the engine that much. This is from experience. I once had this done to my first car ever, a 73 Pinto. See I bought car from the manager of the place I worked and someone was really pissed and dumped sugar in my tank at some point not knowing I now owner the car.
I bought a new Might Max pickup truck new in 86. I loaded it with 15 or so sheets of drywall multiple times while restoring my first house. I towed a 22 foot pontoon boat with it. It had no AC and a crap radio and basic interior. I was 26 at the time, newly married and only had an RX7. This became the wifes ride for…
Fess up David, they kicked you out of Germany because of your penchant for rusty hunks of american iron.
Go Pens! Yunz rule!
Wheres the rotary love? No FD or 1st gen RX7 or earlier rotaries? Sad.
Take a look at www.tablo.com, it may be what you want.
My sentiments exactly on the rx7 v8 swap fad. It ruins the car because its not a rotary anymore and it will never be the same. The good news is there are about 300,000 1st gens out there in the world, so loosing a few to v8 swaps is more a religious issue. I understand it, I hate it, and I don’t support it.
