I’d say Genesis and Acura are somewhat on even footing, but Genesis is trying to more directly target the German brands with its longitudinal engine platforms, and increasingly luxe interiors. The infotainment was always nicely usable if a bit low-rent looking as it shared the same blocky font and low-res graphics

How will this land for people who generally find Fred Armisen highly irritating?

I had a rental Impala a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised with its chassis and powertrain competence. But it fell on its face with attention to detail. The infotainment was garbage in general, and completely overrun with lawyer lockouts of so many activities while driving. The rear visibility was atrocious

For us herbivores, the 7 layer burrito and spicy tostada were big losses. The potatoes less so, but they were a nice add-on to a 7 layer. Wahhh.

I’m all for hatches but sometimes they’re not available. I’m definitely not to the point of being hatches or nothing. Sedans and tall hatches masquerading as crossovers can be fun/practical too.

Gotta mention the LSDeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hyundai disagrees and is instead providing us with the Elantra N and Kona N.

Waiting in line to vote like this is completely avoidable with a little advance planning. The best solution is to get a mail ballot then drop it in a dropbox instead of mailing it back.

The GX is a body-on-frame truck, and with a short wheelbase vs. the also 3-row Land Cruiser/LX570.

Comey is 6'8" though, just sayin...

No, it means that headlights and foglights are the only lights that are allowed to be concealed. Since the Spirit is not a headlight and it’s retractable into the hood, it’s a light that’s both A) concealable and B) not a headlight or foglight.

All I know is I tried to digest a 118 page PDF of technical regulations about lights in about 20 minutes, so it’s thoroughly possible I missed something more relevant than this.

This is the relevant legislation. It’s 118 pages long.

Real colors are good. Too many fancy cars are boring-ass silver/gray/black/white.

My wife bought a pair of pink/salmon colored Crocs over the summer. Her reasoning was basically, “fuck it, I’m stuck inside a lot and I want something comfy and breathable to walk around the house in.” She has now occasionally worn them out of the house, but when she does, she’s always very skeptical as to whether she

I’m perhaps the wrong person to evaluate ride quality. My last car was a lowered BMW 335xi with a bunch of hardened bushings and other crap like that, plus 19" wheels with very low profile tires. The front suspension on the awd E9x cars has less travel than the rwd ones and lowering it does nothing good for the ride

The interior design is fine. Its materials and build quality though, not so much. Muscle cars don’t need to have a super luxurious interiors, but the inside of both the Camaro and 2015-up Challenger are just nicer places to be.

The GT350 is great but also perhaps an unnecessary middle step in the lineup between the best of the GTs and the GT500.

I actually considered a CTR in addition to the Si. It’s a big price jump, but I could’ve afforded it. The CTR has a ton of performance but it’s lacking features I wanted that come standard on the Si: heated seats, sunroof & active cruise. In spite of the big gap in numbers, the Si is still plenty fun to drive.

I bought a car recently. I went to 2 dealers.
