I think this is more an effect of viewing a 3-dimensional, clear, reflective surface in a 2-dimensional photo. Sure it might look too upright in a straight-on photo but in photos from other angles it looks fine, and viewed straight-on in person probably doesn’t look too upright.

This is what Honda used to be great at. Their totally normal regular cars had double wishbone suspensions, big windows, low beltlines, buttery smooth steering, and fantastic manual shifters.
