I was a huge Honda/Acura fanboy in the 90s and 00s but I’ve been meh about them for about 10 years now. Especially Acura. Honda has been on fire with the new Civic (in spite of its styling), Accord and CR-V but none of that goodness has made it over to Acura, yet.

My wife had a 2016 Impreza that was mostly trouble free, except the one time it went totally haywire while she was driving on a 2-lane road in rural Wisconsin. It shut off, she got it to the side of the road, and it refused to turn back on. It blinked some transmission faults or something at her on the screen(s).
