Point is BMW already uses the same transmission in many of their other cars with the same engine as is going in the Supra, and BMW is building the Supra. Sure it’s not just plug-n-play but it’s about as close to it as you can be.

GM has its own meh interiors, but they seem to be at least trying. I feel like I’ve been more let down when sitting in expensive Fords. They’re not objectively bad, they just don’t live up to their price points.

I feel like Ford might be the laziest car company when it comes to interior design and quality standards. Their interiors aren’t bad per se, but they have cheap-ass details even on their expensive cars. It seems when you spend more money on a Ford, it might get bigger, or faster, or have more options, but the interior…

I rewatched Batman Returns recently and was struck by how much of the movie Batman/Bruce Wayne isn’t there. Penguin and Catwoman are the main characters. Also, they’re both (especially Catwoman) way more sexualized than would fly nowadays.
