It’s actually kinda decent at accelerating up to highway speeds thanks to the CVT being helpful in that scenario. It’s total garbage for passing someone on a 2-lane road with my wife screaming at me to not pass people. I only do that in my modded BMW 335xi. She still screams at me but at least I can make the pass.

The Crosstour is actually rather nice to drive too! An Accord, TSX, TL or TLX wagon with a V6 and maybe awd would be that much better, and less ugly.

Back in the late 80s & early 90s before minivans had become completely dominant and then supplanted by SUVs, my mom drove a Ford Taurus wagon. It and the Mercury Sable were everywhere.
