I don’t know how NBC didn’t see what a horrible idea this was. She has no charisma at all, when she interviews people she’s so stiff, and she actually does get some good interview subjects, you would think that would get her to at least pretend she’s into her job. This is the thing that makes me absolutely crazy. Whenever I hear someone say they’re having “Thankgiving Dinner at noon/one/two”, I say to them, “so, you’re having Thanksgiving Lunch, then.”

Maybe it’s just my Thanksgiving experiences, but if your only reason for 6pm is that everyone is bored of talking and hanging out by then, why not just get together later? Eat a small breakfast and lunch at home, get the family together at 4 or 5, and eat dinner at 6 or 7.
