He only ad libbed the bit at the end about tears in rain. The rest was in the script. I saw him at a convention a few years back and he could still recite the entire speech, though he admitted that he had no idea what most of it meant. He was a class act. RIP

I don’t disagree, 80s is where it’s at, but I do have some serious nostalgia for Galaxy Express 999 and and Gatchaman.

That’s the main reason I can’t get into modern anime, the characters are always kids. That’s fine every now and then but I get sick of it pretty quickly, as a middle-aged man I just can’t relate to high school characters anymore. Instead i find myself watching anime from the 70s and 80s, where most of the characters

Vermithrax Pejorative is clearly the best movie dragon, but I doubt any of the people making the video were born yet when that movie came out.
