And this isn’t on the list because....?

He’s just beta-testing a new Sarcasm Simulator.

I followed the link and added Uncharted 4 to my cart and I am a prime member. Only a 2% discount, not 20%. ($0.99 savings) So it must just be a limited time thing

80's Batman would be the Tim Burton Batman, this is the 1960's TV show Batman.

Yeah I mean, everything has it’s fans, but I am genuinely surprised at the number of people on here who think 9 is the best in the series. I always think of 9 as the most forgettable FF game. Like it’s not even bad enough to stick out for that reason, it’s just meh.

Yeah, I spent like an hour putting it together and they never heard it. Also their characters’ faces got eaten.

I once ran a modern Call of Cthulhu game where the instructions to use an ancient artifact to defeat the Big Bad was recorded on a reel to reel, placed prominently in the old professor’s study. I had recorded a voice over complete with scratchy tape noise and ghostly EVP in the background for the players to listen to.

I agree, though even a famous name is no guarantee that it will be delivered, at least the creators actually care about their reputation, which is more than I can say for the randoms.

I backed Ghost Song. I haven’t backed any failed kickstarters yet, but if I were to bet which pending ones aren’t going to make it, that’s at the top of the list. The recent updates have been pleasant surprises, so here’s hoping!

Hmmm, sounds familiar.

Back when there were still video rental stores, they also rented games, and often you could rent the game for an entire weekend. Several of those games didn’t require that much time to beat, so even if you only owned a few games, you could have played and completed dozens of titles.

Man, Starship Troopers. I went to see that when it came out with a bunch of my buddies who were in film school with me. When Michael Ironside looked straight into the camera and said “They sucked his brains out!” we absolutely lost it and the entire audience turned around and stared at us like we were nuts. Love that

I remember the Daily Show reviewed Starship Troopers at the time referring to his character as “Doogie Himmler.”

When I discovered that the Sega Master System controller was compatible with my C64, it changed my world.

I remember when one of my 2600 joysticks broke, cause I played the shit out of the 2600 back then. I actually tried to play a game with the board from out of the broken one, like the board you have pictured. It worked perfectly well, though was obviously harder to use. and I got a great deal of insight as to how

Almost all modern games use the d-pad and the analog stick. The d-pad is typically used for quick-slot inventory management.

Not to mention the high failure rate of those systems. I just recently had to get my PS3’s YLOD serviced, for the second time. It’s a backwards compatible model which is why I still hang on to it. It’s easier than trying to switch between it and my launch PS2, which still works to this day.

The Alone in the Dark game that came out a few years ago actually had a feature where you could skip to the next chapter if you had completed a certain percentage of the chapter you were on. The chapters were broken up like episodes of a tv series and playing staright through was equivilant to binge watching. They

We Are Still Here is a homage to Lucio Fulci’s Gates of Hell trilogy. There are tons of references throughout the film to all three movies and the characters are named for the actors and crew of those films. As a huge fan of Fulci’s trilogy, I loved We Are Still Here.
