I felt guilt because the news about the destruction of the An-225 hit me so hard.

And if you do (or if you already have the set) and you don’t like the really stiff brake pedal feel at the end of the pedal stroke: There is an easy mod for that!

I’ll meet you half-way: yes, you can be a hero by doing really dangerous things. Going behind enemy lines to get a downed pilot. Going into a burning building to rescue people. Climbing a high tree to get a kitten that won't come down.
What he does is awesome, yes. How he does some of those things is not.
Nope, sorry, no. The man would be brilliant if he would wear a minimum of personal safety gear, when required, and, you know, NOT wear an exposed tie when near rotating equipment.
Oh come on! That’s a JET-propelled awesome contraption. Those pulse jets are air-breathing.
We don’t have any dubbing here, except for kids shows and movies. So we get exposed to a lot of English in everyday life. That makes us overconfident.
Hey, this isn’t just Rally English, okay? It’s also the Hydraulic Press Channel English! https://youtube.com/c/HydraulicPressChannel
To be perfectly honest, my own initial gut reaction was “THEY WANT TO DO WHAT???” and unfortunately, that’s the kind of times we live in. A nasty cocktail of envy of the über-rich, stress from the pandemic, you name it. People tend to let the hindbrain take over much to easily nowadays.
It’s a Citroën... Sorry, I mean it’s a former Citroën, now called DS.
Uhmm, not quite. The movable girder section gets hoisted/lifted out, and hung back on its cables afterwards. Total cost is said to be below €100k. This operation has been done multiple times in the past, for the same reason as now.
As a resident of Rotterdam myself, I’d like to offer you a fresh perspective: Removing / hoisting out the movable girder section and hanging it back on its cables, to let a really tall boat past has been done in the past on several occasions. The cost of such an operation, everything included, is said to be below €100k…
Whoah! That’s as cynical an observation as it is astute!
OK, so sir Lewis is back on the Twitter and the Insta. Do I care about his presence on socials?? Nope!
Are you ready for the really crazy part? He’s doing it without a driver’s license.
Well done sir, or madam, well done!
Let them fly on e-fuel and the problem is solved.
So, any takers on a bet for a 10th championship title for Loeb?
While that would work, it would not be as transparent and seamless as a 2G to 3G/4G/5G/LTE femtocell. The car infotainment system wouldn’t need any modifications or reconfigurations at all with a femtocell, since it sees a 2G “tower” within range at all times.
From a tech point of view the solution, for those makes and models without a manufacturer-provided modem upgrade, is simple: 3G to 4G/5G femtocells.
