I have been against OW2 from go and this is a very good change for the game. hopefully we see more improvements (return of 6 v 6 and 2cp)

I think there is some place for AI writing , for big open world games like Skyrim or The Witcher etc , where you can use it to create infinite amounts of side quests or NPC chat. Theres still a good way to go though before its fully viable though , as it needs to be a step up for standard ‘dynaimcally generated’…

I mean its a tech demo. A demonstration of what developing tech can do. Honestly it wasn't a bad demonstration. If I was an indie developer with limited resources and I could get assets and story logic generated by typing a sentence I would jump at it in a heartbeat. now whether this can actually be used really…

Exact question I asked with the FF Pixel Remasters. So... I can play FFIV on PC with remixed music, “better” graphics, etc, but if I want the bonus dungeons or selectable teams instead of the set team of Cecil/Rosa/Rydia/Kain/Edge I have to play the GBA version and ONLY that version. 

Quite possibly that. A fully open source project that does NOT include any circumvention code, nor any proprietary Nintendo snippets and has NO form of monetization whatsoever is basically bulletproof, IMHO.

Odd that Nintendo went after Yuzu but not Ryujinx. Maybe because Yuzu put its latest builds behind Patreon paywalls?

YUZU does not supply decryption keys or game ISO files. Users have to source those files from other platforms or dump them from their own hacked Switch systems.

I don’t think dynamic pricing is going to work out for Wendy’s. It works for Uber/Lyft because they have close to a captive market, but Wendy’s isn’t one half of the only game in town and customers are absolutely willing to drive a little further for a couple of dollars off.

It’s very important to boycott Wendy’s, because if this system ends up working, you can be sure it will spread like wildfire through the fast food industry and beyond.

I try not to make predictions, but a fast food restaurant charging more at times when people are hungry and/or have time to eat sounds like a big mistake.

I’m in the same boat. I love and appreciate that he’s still putting out new content, and would never complain about a big SV update, but mods have had a long time to add boatloads of new stuff over the years (a lot of it super high quality) that I’m a little more interested in seeing his next IP.

Breyer’s is a poor choice of example for “regular” ice cream because it hasn’t legally been ice cream for over a decade. After a reformulation to contain less milk and cream, most of the flavors have been rebranded as “frozen dairy dessert”.

Being jailed for refusing to serve isn’t a punishment because it’s for the same length of time? Probably would come as a surprise to the people that wrote this law.
