Other posters have mentioned it obliquely, but OW2 is just Overwatch with worse design. It shouldn’t have ever been considered a separate game in the first place, and most of the changes were poorly conceived.

I’m just confused and annoyed that they don’t want a remake to be the definitive edition of the game. Why would you bother with a remake that leaves out content?

Honestly more interested in Haunted Chocolatier, but I suspect I’ll wind up replaying Stardew again eventually.

It’s believable, if you take a look at hardware we’ve seen some of the largest generation on generation jumps recently (significantly due to the application of AI to various parts of the R&D process), and that’s before you consider that we’re approaching the point of new stuff (e.g. nVidia 5000 series).

I’m fine with it - but that’s largely because I’ve stopped buying consoles (outside Nintendo) since exclusives are increasingly not a thing (at least in regards to PC). From my perspective this just means we’re going to see a jump in game quality sooner, and I’m fine with that.

Things I learned: They’re working on a new Subnautica game.

Well, I don’t much like Gear Score, but I can’t really tell what that means for the loot system from this. I suppose I wouldn’t buy it on launch anyways, but this just redoubles my intent to figure out if it has farming first (since that would be the most likely reason I’d buy the game). Honestly I’d even prefer Gear

Honestly respectable of them - and it should be made the legal default. As it is though, it’d be nice if Marvel Heroes got similar treatment.

Perhaps the most ridiculous part isn’t the prices, but that after all this money and all this time, they still haven’t lived up to their original promises. Something that was supposed to happen in 2015.

Honestly, I can’t come up with much that’s been announced (except maybe Hades 2, but I can’t remember if that’s just a guess or not), but I am watching out for a few things announcement wise: Borderlands 4, Persona 6, Haunted Chocolatier, Beyond Good and Evil 2, etc. I have to admit though, a lot of what I’ll probably

Honestly given how many loopholes there are (such as stepped up basis), they often don’t pay at all. Nonetheless you’re right to a degree - while short term gains are taxed as income, long term ones aren’t. I wouldn’t really object to changing that though.

Honestly, I agree with you, but I think the solution is a lot more direct - make it illegal and the companies responsibility as far as things like fakes and lack of service you paid for (something that should’ve been true in the first place).

I play Genshin Impact. So you’re telling me they were cheap and then they got made cheaper.

Honestly, the last use it had was pushing all the announcements into one area, so people could peruse them rather than having to play whack a mole year round guessing when to take a look at what they might be interested in.

I might finally pick up a copy since they’ve announced there’ll be no more DLCs. Was waiting to play the completed version.

This. I don’t think I’ve even heard that they fixed all the basic problems and omissions yet. Honestly I will (unfortunately) probably pick it up when they release a new class - but until then I’m avoiding it, since I don’t want to be annoyed by their unwillingness to finish the game before releasing it.

Honestly I’ll probably buy it (which annoys me), but I’m on hiatus now because I don’t want to deal with it while they get in the basic stuff that should’ve been there at launch.

It’s not the old console games I’m worried about - look at the always online games. Once they’re dropped they’re gone. Not hard to access, or requiring an emulator - just straight up no longer extant. You can’t play Battleborn or Marvel Heroes anymore, not even on private servers.

I’ll be honest, I despise hold to confirm as a concept - that’s not really a comment on this particular situation, and more that it basically drives me up the wall whenever I run across it.

Goodbye Kotick. You won’t be missed. In fact, retire sooner.
