As you mentioned, more waiting for TTW DLC than this, which I’m skeptical of until proven otherwise.

I have no idea what to say to those objections, I mean, wouldn’t they have been more concerned about her backstory? Bad faith is an understatement, it seems like they just managed to miss you know, a couple decades and added on some nonsense.

Honestly I’m almost impressed with them. They’re a video game company, but they blew past EA’s awfulness years ago. When you have to sit down and ask yourself whether a video game company is worse than companies in fundamentally unethical areas, it’s time to consider you may have gone past merely fucking up. At this

I’m actually playing through that right now - while it’s not great, it’s a decent example of the genre. Sounds like it might just not be your thing honestly.

This was the last place I posted frequently outside topical stuff like here, and it’s even worse than it sounds. We’ve had indirect warnings about this since last year, and it appears it may be a result of a single CM’s dislike of bothering with forums. Further, back when it first came up I did a one to one comparison

Torn here, I was psyched before the part about slow combat was mentioned, but I’m still pretty fond of Warframe despite the early problems. Really though, there aren’t exactly a lot of games that take inspiration from fast paced melee like the DMC series, I’d have been more interested in that than another soulsbourne.

This. This was really, really weird. It was also odd that other common triggers such as motion blur were only referred to in relation to other things. Don’t get me wrong, I agree that higher FPS helps, but one of the first things I do when I turn on a game is turn off motion blur and headbob as well as increasing FoV

The only thing I’m surprised here is by Cruz claiming to be a gamer. More to the point, that title image is disturbing. Did you really need to plaster his face there? It’s honestly surprising how much discomfort it conveys.

Honestly, I feel like the most significant thing there is that ES6 is still in pre-production. Admittedly I haven’t payed the closest attention, but I’d have expected much more progress than that. I guess the same team is involved with this and Starfield? Feels kind of odd given they have three separate dev teams just

I’ll believe it when I see it. As much as I’d prefer to not play scavenger hunt year round to try to figure out what I’m interested in that’s coming, they don’t have a great record of actually having the show when they say they will.

Their design of scheduled character reworks was brilliant - the simultaneous knowledge that your main wouldn’t get nerfed out of the blue, and that there’d always be some new content/revamp was great.

Marvel Heroes was honestly one of the best D2 clones to date, and it still pisses me off that they’ve killed it entirely. They didn’t even release the source code for archiving, it’s just... dead. Not really interested in what these people were doing, but Disney screwed up by the numbers on Marvel Heroes.

That’s the problem with the genre, they tend to either be excellent or awful. Too many different ways to mess them up with terrible and common tropes. I love the central premise and generally extensive length though. Makes a pleasant difference pacing wise.

As usual, just annoyed by the reminder that any attempt to figure out my interest will require trying to figure out when they’ll splatter this stuff over the rest of the year.

Gotta be honest, I prefered Deck 16, and am confused by how much articles tend to focus on this particular level. I didn’t even have a strong opinion on it back when I played.

I’ve got to admit, I’m less offended than I am just feeling a combination of disblief and hilarity. The idea someone actually deliberately designed this blows my mind.

I reach for baking soda honestly. I do have a fire extinguisher (and a lid I could possibly use), but my first instinct is to grab baking soda however.

It’s incredibly impressive I agree, but I despise the camera bob. Is it impressive they can do it? Kind of. Do I want to see it anywhere near gaming? No. It’s nauseating, and I already get frustrated by how much other such ‘features’ get shoehorned in.

It’s an interesting idea, I’ve mentally noted before that most major guides and walkthroughs still come from amateurs rather than professionals. I’m curious to see what you come up with honestly, good idea.

Agreed. Honestly, Anthony Burch taking off was a major hit for Gearbox. Though admittedly it wasn’t just the story that was a problem in BL3, from the mess they made of end game to the inconsistent quality and areas that were clearly intended for more stuff it was a very incomplete, messy game.
