It was great to hear about a book you were interested in, drive around the corner to a Borders or Barnes and Noble, and then be able to actually starting reading it within an hour. I’ll never understand how ordering it online and getting it five days later somehow became universally regarded as more efficient.

Just be honest and admit that you dismissed my comment b/c it was factually correct, and you had no legitimate retort to it.

Sorry, the fact that the Clinton Foundation, a group that fights for human and women rights, received a donation in the neighborhood of $10-$25 million from Saudi Arabia — a nation that has a horrible record on both accounts — was a huge conflict of interest too. They weren’t making that donation b/c they agreed with

Is there actually anyone on Earth who thinks these two are “best friends” and not dating each other?

The first day of the recount in Wisconsin saw Stein get 17 more votes, Johnson get 12 more votes, two votes were taken from Trump, and one was taken from Clinton. So she has netted, so far, one single vote. This recount supposedly could cost taxpayers as much as $12 million.

Steve Smith is a fucking asshole. Great player, but an asshole nonetheless.

I agree with you! But to write the guy off as “dumb,” which is the reputation he has, b/c he has some “out there” religious views, isn’t fair. I don’t think he is qualified for those spots either, but the writer said it was “ironic” that he could even be considered for areas where he has actual experience.

I actually agree with you. But a position regarding education and health services would not be out of a surgeon’s field. That’s my whole point.

Pretty sure I am raising a good faith objective. Calling a renowned brain surgeon dumb is ridiculous. It’s like saying, “Yeah, this guy won the decathlon at the Olympics, but he sucks at basketball, so at the end of the day, he’s a pretty shitty athlete.”

I never said he deserved those positions. I said that to be considered for a position in education and health services, when he has experience in both fields at the highest levels, is in no way “ironic.”

Fine. It needs to work both ways then. There’s Muslim men who believe that woman need to cover their faces in public and shouldn’t have social contact with members of the opposite sex. Is it okay to criticize them for their religious beliefs too? Or is that “Islamophobia” in your world?

“Dr. Ben Carson is being considered for both Health and Human Services and Education Secretary, based, I guess, solely on irony”

whoops...*too many

1) Saying that a vote for Trump was automatically a vote against black people is odd considering he did better with black voters than Romney or McCain.

Or the teacher. Sorry, I have seen to many of these Facebook posts with racist/homophobic notes turn out to be total bullshit.

Some of them have proven to be hoaxes. Facebook posts and tweets about second-hand accounts aren’t gospel.

Are any of them actively gloating to the point of meanness or shunning you for voting for Clinton? If not, go home and enjoy Thanksgiving with your family. Part of being tolerant means being open to the idea that people sometimes have different opinions on things.

I disagree with this notion that he actually doesn’t want to be President.

Good luck getting that group to vote for Democrats while the left continues to write them all off as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and uneducated (which, in politics, is just a euphemism for “stupid”).
