Despite its flaws I genuinely enjoy this movie. I watched it recently in preparation for this article and it still hold up for the most part.

The problem wasn’t with Tom Cruise; the problem was with the source material being hit and miss, and not that great even when it “hit”. The first movie was fine, because whoever adapted the novel into the screenplay did an inspired job. The second movie was shit, because it wasn’t one of the better novels to begin…

First Jack Reacher was good though? And lead to a reinvigorated Mission Impossible franchise. Shut up.

Also, HBO wants him to refer to the knights’ assistants as “squires,” but he keeps insisting, “No, pages.”

Just put the show out of its misery.  30 seasons is a nice number to go out on.  

Just make the safe move and drop the show altogether. 

The removal didn’t go without some pain, as Draiman exclaimed “oh-ah-ah-ah-ah!” when they were pulled out.

Isn't the most recent Doom game basically "Doom but it actually resembles the cover art practically exactly"?

In most movies, I like the plot and character development and just tolerate the pointless action scenes. Like Avengers, the big sky battle over NYC is a total snore, but I love everyone sitting around talking about things.

on balance I'm willing to leave things more along the lines of "teh dude abides" myself - but I thank you for the grin I'm wearing...

I think there’s a whole thing about how it’s easier to CGI a completely fake animal with no fur than it is to CGI a furry animal that exists in reality.

Maybe they'll Shrek it up and have wolf dragon babies together.

Yeah the wolves was one of the biggest fails with the series. The other being not enough brothel scenes explaining important plot points.
