Call Me By Your Nemo

I unapologetically love 1941.

AV Club turned into a tabloid rag so gradually, I hardly noticed.

It’s going down hill fast isn't it?

And, I would add, less interested in this web site.

I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

It’s pretty bad. I’m stuck by habit, but running out of steam.

I think the best Jackass material has a thread of Looney Tunes in it... like the giant hand slap stunt. If they lean on things like that, it will be just as fun.

Underrated DePalma film.

So is this an Ode To His Family?

A guy can dreams, can’t he?

Wait, Mulaney was addicted?

Oh I get it.

You mean like when someone drinks too much? Or snorts cocaine? Or bets the house on the ponies? Or when someone smokes too many cigarettes? Or like when someone shops too much with credit cards? Or like when someone plays too many scratchy lotteries? Or like when someone eats

How about

If you start thinking too hard, you might start asking difficult questions.

No love for Sizemore in the write up?

Always kind of liked this movie when it came out. Remember when Sizemore was something?

I have a real soft spot for mid-to-late 90s creature features: your Relics, Mimics, Deep Risings, Deep Blue Seas, Lakes Placids, Specieses, Wishmasters, etc. They tend to have a nice mix of great practical work, terrible CGI, some good gore, and are just overall campy fun.

Godzilla and Kong spend the last 45 minutes of this 113-minute film having a knock-down, drag-out, professional wrestling-style brawl.
