I did a stage 1 APR to my 8P Audi A3 6 speed manual. Was awesome to drive...when it worked. Had nightmares with that car never running right. I eventually got TD1 flagged and had to dump the car.

Is this really that much better than a 2010+ 328 wagon with a tune? Legit question, I am not a BMW guy. Appreciate that you cannot get a manual on current models. F30 is still a really solid platform with more modern comforts.

I use 1Password and like it a lot (PC and iphone). I ditched the dropbox/icloud sync and went to remembering to do the WIFI sync process once and a while. Just makes me feel a little more secure since Dropbox has password leaking issues in the past.

I grew up and spent the first 25 years of my life in PA across the Trenton bridge. Never really thought NJ drivers were bad per say. I moved to NJ about 10 years ago and have been here ever since (both in North, Central, and South Jersey). It turns out my aggressive, speeding, quick accelerating, horn honking style

Luxuries could be contributing but cost of living is likely the problem. My NJ property taxes are out of control. Enough that I’ll be selling my house to downsize and move into a place with a cheaper property tax (and I’m not even in the more expensive north jersey area). Car insurance is up, gas is up, and basic

This is a good reminder to check your icloud devices and find my iphone (it seems that part of the icloud service was not caught up). I recently gave an old Iphone6 to a family member. Even though I turned off find my iphone, icloud, and wiped it, it was still tied to my account/icloud account/apple account.

Student loan debt is also looked at differently versus credit card debt on your credit score. It’s considered an installment debt. Credit cards are a revolving debt. Credit card debt is weighed more heavily (read: revolving debt is weighted higher than installment debt).

This can’t be said enough. Be smart with the money. If OP is willing to drop $30,000 on a new car, DON’T SELL IT UPON GRADUATION. It makes no sense especially when you are trying to do grad school. Either buy something nice with a long warranty (Hyundai/Kia), buy something super reliable (Lexxus/Toyota), or buy a

I’d love to see Acura go a little wild and create an SQ5 competitor.

Can I have this in the RDX too please, Acura?

This is a very good idea from GM/Buick. If VW and Subaru can offer a mainstream wagon and Audi/BMW/Benz can get away with luxury wagons, Buick can too. Buick is that weird marketed as upscale mainstream but still too many parts borrowed from Chevy that leaves it in a weird middle land. As someone said before the

Literally was my first thought. It’s great they are coming to the party with hatch/wagons but if the interior looks like the rest of their line up, I can’t get on board.

It’s a shame too because there are some good cars out there. I’m going to ditch my KL Cherokee for a sporty sedan of some kind (S4, XE R-Sport, or something. Undecided). The new MKZ and G80 are also catching my attention. Some good sedans out right now.

Sounds to me like either the last two options or since he mentioned gap, he’s worried if someone wrecked it that the gap on value is too large. AKA he bought it for too much vs the current value USAA says it’ll pay.

We force kids to learn all kinds of things they don’t want to. That’s school from K to 12. Not to mention, they are entirely too young to make that determination for themselves. Otherwise kids would say no thanks to everything except lunch and recess.

America needs to catch up in general and start pushing a second language in school. Either French or Spanish based on our proximity to Canada and Mexico like other countries do.

And I would agree with you. CVTs are very subjective and just beginning to become mainstream. Chances are the guy who took his boring Camry to 150,000 miles and just wants enough power to merge safely is probably good with a CVT. My wife would not care, notice, or mind. I would lose my shit every time I drove it.

I can’t say anything about most CVTs as I have only driven an older Nissan Murano with one and Subaru’s in the 2016 Forester and I hated both. If Subaru is considered top shelf, I can’t imagine what Nissan and others are like.

That’s a good deal considering in NJ I can’t find one under $32k in AWD trim with those miles.

Yea this is a situation where this family could easily stop donating for a few years and be student loan free. Then knock yourself out going back to donating. They could also shave nearly $15,000 off by taking one vacation and cutting their car payments in half with slight smaller or cheaper cars. There’s zero reason
