Exactly, I actually love that “woman engineer” quote. Comes from the same episode I mention above. As a woman working closely to the VC / tech world, this show often hits home. In another episode they show a female VC being told to not dress too attractively as she’s turning down a company for funding. It’s obvious

I buy this, though. I don’t have a problem with the lack of diversity on this show, because I feel like its entire role is lampooning the absurdity of silicon valley culture. It’s supposed to be an exaggerated version of start-up/venture politics, not an idealized version of it. They even have a whole episode about

Yes. Now go away.

I am so very scared to click on whatever you linked for “strawberry tongue”

I need that leather jacket or I’m going to die.

The Great Ovarian Explosion of 2016

Yessss I also work in financeland and I can attest to this. Checked shirts in pastel blue and purple and pink with navy fleece vests. Don’t forget your crazy flashy patterned socks that match so you can show everyone how fun you are!

I would just like to say UNNNNFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Ooooof.

NEKO ATSUME IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE

BOOM.

I love this line of thinking especially for the “They just do it for the attention!!!” bullshit.

I was just about to make this comment. It is jarring to the point of sending chills down my spine.

My friend gets coffee in a west village coffee shop next to him & his daughter every morning. She says he looks very mean.

Off topic but GOSH you have really pretty skin! As a fellow pale girl tell me all your sorcery/magic/secrets please?

Thank you. I’m 78% evil and 22% pure desperation.

Exactly. Because your success is due to the kindness and generosity of others, and couldn’t POSSIBLY be of your own making. Definitely sexist, likely also racist.

I want some antidepressant lollipops tbh

Yuuup. My mom has been on WW for like 3 years (and lost over 100 lbs!) just by counting the points herself but not paying for an actual membership. They keep trying to reinvent the points system every year or so to convince people to keep paying.

Same. My mom has been doing it for years and my sister definitely picked up the habit. This is scary.
