I can live without my Amazon stick because it doesn’t have nearly as many apps or video services supporting it as my Chromecast or Roku do. Its sole redeeming quality is that it works in hotel captive portals. That’s the only reason I own one and why it stays in my travel bag.
There is nothing stopping Amazon from adding Chromecast support to Prime in the exact same way they wrote for Roku. That’s the entire point of the article.
