Yeah, but the problem is that on a lot of non-gearhead points the Libertarian party is fucking nutsoid.

Require driver’s license re-testing every few years. Possibly add in real world scenarios where you have to make quick judgement calls.
My ‘02.5 Jetta turbo was plagued with the failing coil packs ($25/each vs $100/each) and the windows falling into the doors (plastic clips vs metal), both cases where the bean counters got in and redesigned a part to be cheaper, only to see it fail in massive numbers. . I often call it the “most predictably unreliable…
No pants is basically assumed.
Does it even need a separate tractor, as the batteries can be under the trailer (where there is half a car’s height of space anyway...) and motors integrated too? Just add a small driver-pod onto the top front of the trailer and turning front wheels. Bam, increased space efficiency!
When Elon Musk finally emerged from pulling his small-amounts-of-crack-fueled all-nighter and finally delivered his…
Or can we all just agree that car culture is changing.
Into what? who knows. But it will likely be a fun ride.
As long as there are cars with potential (and cars without potential) there will be someone trying to make it faster. Whether that’s new headers or hand-wrapping the copper coils, it’s going to happen.

Hooray! The Washington Post ran another story about how car culture is dying, because the big stupid one they wrote…
Heh ... fun fact - I’m an iOS developer and, more specifically, the lead for the mobile dev group at my company. It’s basically my job to solve problems handed down from the top then, once solved, hand it off to my Jr. devs to polish it up.

In Jalopnik, land of shitty cars and slow Miatas, it’s not always about working properly or going fast.
Hey, remember how crazy this season of Top Gear was? The one thing we can’t blame the reinvented show for doing is…
5th Gear: I think everybody building trucks is going to need to look at moving to traction motors at every wheel (or at least the back two) with an engine just driving a generator like they do with trains. The heavy equipment guys are moving that way now, it's only a matter of time until more road vehicles do that.
So same thing as HIV then.
Well damn, I guess I’m a Jeff Segal fan now.
Tight suits mostly. But someone should look into some additional netting or pouch system. Maybe a new market opportunity? Sign me up...
With this car, the biggest challenge is that you make ALL of your time by rolling big mid corner speed. In GTE-spec the cars actually make less power than GT3 cars, so the emphasis is on entry/rolling speed. You have big tires, decent downforce, and you really have to have big commitment to make the tires work…
