I know how that goes. When I start a series on PC or my Xbox, I can't switch over. I played the original Call of Duty was on PC, and as such I can't play any of them on my 360. Likewise, I can't play Halo on the PC since I started it on the Xbox.

Whitson, what icons are you using on the taskbar? They're fantastic!

I've been using a local credit union since I've been about 7 or 8 years old when my parents set me up a kids savings account. I still have that account today (it grew up as I grew up) and a couple more at the same credit union. They're local, they're great, and I trust them a million times more than I do any bank.

A VE400 eh? I'll have to see what I can find. Does it get rid of the jog dial? That's my only issue with the enclosure.

The only time I use an optical drive is at work. As a computer tech I sometimes have to burn a CD or two every once in a while. Although I've taken great lengths to avoid using optical media as much as possible. I rebuilt our diag CD and made it a USB based diag. I bought a Zalman ZM-VE200 enclosure to further

Mmmmm....bratwurst.... *drools*

You've obviously never had some red or green chile on your hotdog then. Pure heaven. I guess it's just us crazy New Mexicans who put red or green chile on everything we eat.

It's super easy for me. My dogs love plain old ice. I can give them little ice cubes from the freezer for treats and they're ecstatic.

Thermostat? Where I live we run swamp coolers. You've only got a few options. Pump on/off, fan on/off, fan high/low. And in NM in the summer you best have it running full tilt.

I bought a 240GB OCZ Agility 3 a few months ago for $260. Just the other day I bought an OCZ Vertex 3 for $80 for my laptop. I'm loving how cheap they're starting to get. And just as somebody else mentioned before, I'm never letting my OS run on a standard HDD ever again.

I love Breaking Bad! And since I live in Albuquerque, it's fun to see all the places that they film it and know pretty much exactly where they are.

I've got one of those too, but with the tanto point and no serrations. It's a damn fine knife.

It's a beast of a router especially considering it's age. I'm on my second one and until I need fancy things like 802.11N or AC, I have no need to switch.

VOTE: Linksys WRT54GL

By the looks of it, I think it's actually the WP7 emulator that MS lets you access from a mobile browser. They wanted people to be able to try out WP7 easily.

I remember at one point MS had a website you could visit on mobile browsers to try out WP7. Maybe that's what this is? It's definitely running on android though. Between the virtual ICS buttons and the bit of the notification bar showing, there's no mistaking it.

Well, if you calculate for inflation (assuming the belts are 20 years old) you're looking at around $70 in today's money. $100 isn't that much further.

Damn. I gotta stop being so fat so I can get one of those.

That's just the nature with DD-WRT's naming I think. I run a WRT54GL and the latest release for mine is beta and decently old at that.

I completely disagree with what you're saying here. I have DD-WRT on my router at home. It was a quick flash, set things up how I needed them (Wifi security, WAP name, etc) and that was it. My router has been sitting in my closet happily ever since. I haven't had to log into it in months.
