As a fellow New Mexican I thank you. You bring a sane voice to an otherwise chaotic world.

I don’t know about dream car, but I was definitely lusting after a WRX STI. I’d wanted one for years and had been saving up for one. I did briefly test drive one to make sure I could fit and operate everything (I’m 6'3"), but I didn’t have a chance to really put it through the paces until I drove off the lot in mine…
Right? And I work on base, so with any luck it happens when I’m at work and wouldn’t have a chance to think about it.
I work at the base of that mountain. The nukes are a few miles west of there now, but I’d bet it’s still pretty high on someone’s hit list.
Pretty sure that’s a lambo dude.
There are a lot of hilarious Monty Python skits, but this is still in my top 10 of the funniest they’ve done.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this.
I think ID10T would still work here.
I’ll have you know that I’m in Albuquerque sir, and it is, in fact, the center of the world.
Yeah, it’s silly. Like I said, I turned mine off just because I never had, used, or needed it in the past. I’ve had zero problems since then.
I can see how it can help somebody who’s learning, but I hate it. I learned to drive stick in a 90's F-150 with no thrills or frills. My ‘16 WRX STI has it, but I didn’t realize it at first. I thought my AWD was getting bound up or something. I now have a permanent gripe light on my dash because I’ve turned it off.
That’s good to hear. I ordered one last week and it gets here Monday. How are you liking it so far?

We’ll have to see. A lot of their stuff is based off the Impreza platform anymore, so it’s still definitely a possibility.
My hope is that Subaru is just pumping out profitable stuff right now while the factories are at capacity. Hopefully we see some more fun stuff once they expand production in Indiana.
We’ll have to see the numbers to make a proper determination of it, but in my book this is an ideal hybrid setup. As long as the gas engine can generate enough electricity to provide the full amount of current necessary to run the electric motors, there should be no performance drop or issues. Not to mention that…
It’s fine. I’ve got the 16 ton weight ready to go.
Personally I’m more worried if he’s got a banana. Or some raspberries.
AHFC = AHFuCk = what a bunch of Honda finance people probably said today.
Sure, but it’s all about the image. When/if Tesla gets production ramped up, they’re still going to need more buyers. They need people to see them in a positive light. By saying that the car costs $35,000, even when there’s a ton of demand, means that they should win in the long run.
The demand is because of the price. If they raise it, then the pre-orders disappear. Plus Elon is trying to get as many electric cars on the roads as possible. That’s the idea behind the Model 3. The electric car for the everyman. It’s harder to market it that way if you’re jacking up the price.
