Mother of GOD.  Thank you for your service.

I regret I have but one star to give.

10/10, would DVR

Speaking as a notary, can confirm.

I really hate you, but I hate myself more for laughing. +1

I’d also point out - as an Eagles fan here - that if you raise your child to be a Cowboys fan in the heart of Eagles country, well...that’s a pretty cruel thing to do to a little one...

This, exactly.

Nice! Kinda jealous. I wanted to go to Stanford. My HS guidance counselor told me I shouldn’t bother applying, since “no one from this school gets accepted there.” Transferred into Princeton instead, two years in.

We actually fight about blue pens v. black pens in my office on the reg. #bluepens4lyfe

I totally agreed with this until I saw Interview with a Vampire. A horrid movie to be sure, and heaven knows he wasn’t playing Lestat at all, but he couldn’t have. Brad Pitt was so appalling that if Tom Cruise had played the character as written, the movie would have been unbearable.

YES THIS EXACTLY

If it makes you feel better, you’re not the only one. I’m 52, and I’ve been told “you’re too young for the double TKR you need” since I was 40. No one seems to be able to tell me when I’ll be old enough. I think the theory is that if I’m likely to die before a revision is necessary? Probably I’m old enough.

Well, you know the definition of homophobia is “the latent fear that gay men will treat me the way I’ve been treating women” so there you go.

This is, unfortunately, too long to be needle-pointed on a pillow. But it should be.

how does this not have more stars

...he is the first non-QB to beat the system - he’s a dick, but he got paid...

I can contribute Winter Wonderland. And also say “shit on the cemetery wall” in Pennsylvania Dutch - do you think that’s helpful?

God, I feel guilty paying for a mocha at Starbucks. If I paid $4000 for a coffee maker, I’d think I’d have to marry the thing. Which, come to think of it, is an appropriate punishment.

In adherence with Academy standards, this year’s Big Movie About Race is more about redeeming the main racist white character and less about the stalwart character who bears the brunt of that clueless racism.

God, this was a great conversation.  We struggle with exactly this in HR every damn day (I responded to Albert up above).  Thanks, you two, for discussing this stuff rationally.  It’s not as easy as every makes it out to be.
