the new X-Files I think TRIED that model... but it wasn’t as successful.

CoE was the pinacle of what made Torchwood great and cemented my fandom for that show.

one of the main issues I had with those crappy Doctor Who episodes too... so many of them sprinkled throughout.... TVs taking people and coming to life... wait, how many times has Doctor Who done that one now... TVs/Internet grabbing people (close enough).

Ianto’s death had a penalty, and RTD made it very clear it was for a purpose. It did it’s job and Torchwood still can continue with or without him. The good thing about the audio adventures is that they can take place at any time in Torchwood-land, and Ianto is still alive in some of those!

I loved the show and still love the stories in Torchwood-land. I agree it did have some stupid episodes, but CoE made it EPIC Sci-Fi! Nothing could and nothing has beat CoE to me in terms of impact and effectiveness of a good science-fiction story.

they could have easily put gloves on the hands to make it more difficult to guess... I think they didn’t do that so you would almost KNOW who is in that costume. how they fit into the ultimate storyline is still TBD

and please have Amanda Pays back to play Elder Barry’s lead in the lab!! Maybe tie in a Max Headroom reference with Amanda Pays as well!!!

Deadpool works for a specific audience and specific-type of movie goer... here we’re speaking about a full-out TV series... much more in depth charcter development. Look how well Jessica Jones did the character stories.... I would hope they keep the stories on redemption and charater heroism... not turn an anti-hero…

I feel it’s not in Disney/Marvel’s interest to do the things that WB/DC is doing by making the bad guys the central elements to their stories... Disney has never done that, and it weakens their whole brand. I think it would be unwise for Netflix to buy into that as well. The way that the Netflix-Marvel world is…
