I actually really liked the Zygon episodes as well... this past Saturday’s episode was well done... if you guys all suspend your disbelief for a little bit and take Doctor Who for what it is, sci-fi/fantasy storytelling, then you’ll have fewer issues and enjoy the episodes. do you remember the string of hour long "specials" during Tennant's run? Those were all technically Doctor without companion episodes... it would be nice to have River as a true companion, perhaps only in the form of a "Number 6" angel that only the Doctor can see!
