I understand that their motives are pure, and they’re a best case scenario as far as identity theft goes. But it’s still illegal. They do it while knowing full well that it’s illegal. They gamble the risk of being caught against the possible benefits, lose, and now much face the consequences. That’s how crime works.

Sorry, that’s bullshit. She compounded one crime— albeit one she was made to commit by her parents, or whoever made her come to the US— with another. Identity theft is identity theft. She knew it was illegal, and did it anyway.

Hopefully you are aware that laws are in place to protect human beings? They’re not just enacted for funsies. There’s always a point behind them, and that point is to protect those who have been previous victimized by the same action that is being outlawed.

I live down the shore about equally distant from AC and Newark so it’s the same drive either way.

Regional airports are the way to go— they’re usually less busy, smaller (so there’s less walking) and all-round less busy so there’s less waiting at the baggage carrousel and less competition for parking. Totally worth it.
