The Lotus Esprit. Innovative design by Giugiaro, so refreshingly clean, austere, futuristic. I wanted one so badly, even after I learned that it does not actually transform into a missile-launching submarine.

Luke is 40 years older, he accidentally turned his nephew into Kylo Ren eho killed most of the other students, the galaxy returned to war as usual regardless of all the deaths he saw, and caused. Other than that, yeah, Luke was just chilling
You know that Torchinsky would drive one, if he could
uhhhh...it does the Kessel Run in how many parsecs?
What was the terrible part? Sounds like science fiction motorcycle to me.
I agree with this. Obviously, there is an unlimited possibility of appearances, behaviors in people who are described as or identify as Black. However this topic is kinda political and I am just going to step back and read.
No doubt, but is there a script or format that allows people to feel comfortable talking about this topic? I am not aware of it. She’s just muddling through.
So the problem with her is her lack of attribution? That to be respectful, she should admit that she is lifting a style, rather than saying it isn’t specifically African-American? I get that.
Good points, but I liked that a lot of his music is exceedingly, and I think intentionally dweeby, which is refreshing in a genre that features men posing and brandishing their masculine power, or whatnot. I mean, you cannot release “Ass Like That”unless you are a deeply silly person.
The Root is a great place to discuss appropriation concerns, no?
Well, sure, your argument scans. She’s doing a kind of stereotype impression, it seems. But how much weight do we want to put on stereotypes? Seems to me that would suggest that if she is good at math, she is acting Asian, or that I wear polo shirts and dance with my upper teeth biting my lower lip, I am acting white.
Well, *I* took myself at 14 verrrrrrryyyy seriously. Hahahaha! Oh, man. Let’s not judge the kid too harshly!
“MJ is not a molester” = “I choose to quash every molecule of common sense in my brain”
I was going to disagree and say that luxury is what you put in it, not the marque, but then I thought about how I didn’t buy a Ford Flex when I really wanted one, in part because the thought of a $50,000 Ford was just so fundamentally not acceptable.
It’s easy to be cynical about VW’s motives for suggesting an end to diesel subsidies, but the last call bell already rang in 2012 when the World Health Organization described diesel emissions as a Type 1 carcinogen.
As a film critic, I so agree with this critic’s approach of explaining to the filmmaker just how they should have made their flawed little show. You know, it takes special people, like us to explain how the perspective and pacing were wrong. It is a remarkable gift that we have, this gift of hindsight. That’s why we…
I don’t think we are disagreeing. Stannis didn’t get up in the morning thinking he’d do five evil things that day, but then, who does? Most people self-justify their actions and inactions just to get through the day.
Was he grey? He himself never seemed to make an ethical judgement. He trusted his interpretation of legal right, and proceeded thenceforth motivated only by what he saw as obligation. All of which was justifiable in his mind, to the point of crowding out concerns about fidelity, about killing your brother, and then…
Ha, this...clearly denying responsibility. Did invisible strings puppet him into taking an elbow shot to the neck of someone lying face down on the ground? I hope that by appealing, he gets an extra couple of games to think about how to act.
This car is hella flat.
