A chance? To do what, disappoint us more? How much more disappointment can we take from Mitsubishi? What a waste of a great car logo and monstrous zaibatsu manufacturing capacity.

Slow. But worth it. With solar, this is kind of an ultimate prepper truck. Go anywhere, haul mass quantities of people and supplies, and it won’t break. Or if it does break, everything can be unbolted and replaced.

How does he find these? Every article in this series seems like the Torchinskiest vehicle imaginable, but then there’s the next one!

Does classic mean collectible or just a design that will look good for a long time? If the latter, I would nominate the current generation Mazda 3. Beautiful proportions.

I understood that reference!!!

Hehe. What a guy. I like his attitude. It’s not as catchy as “when live gives you lemons” but it is the same spirit, times a thousand.

Yes, it is time for the press to cut Musk down to size. Ambition and vision are fine things to tell children to have, but actually displaying them is not very democratic, is it?

....Aaaaaaand to GET the harvest of minerals as cheaply as possible, Elon then announces his new space elevator company.

I like when he makes diagrams of things. Also his advocacy for a VW electric microbus was so strongly and clearly articulated, I wonder if it had an effect on VW finally getting around to announcing the Buzz. The guy is a super talent actually.

He has a niche, right? I chuckle about his articles well into the rest of my day and sometimes for days.

Great sub-review of a great show!

I’m guessing it can no longer be taken apart with an ordinary screwdriver!

They look like flash cubes, a 70's modern apartment, mule’s teeth, or clear Legos. The fact that they are so ugly makes them kind of interesting, in a “so, what were you thinking?” sort of way.

Ahhhhhhhh arachnophobia

I want to know more about that TJ Cruiser thing. How many seats? What kind of engines? Would it have a really square snorkel?

I’m curious. I love dirt bikes, but don’t trust car drivers enough to ride on the road. Also am getting a little old to learn motorcycle technique. Have been eying one of those CanAm deals but they are hugely wide. This looks...intriguing

OMG.

Mmm...snouty

Yep, great casting and directing and editing. And writing. A good performance, on our side of the screen, needs all those things, on theirs.

Sad but true. I grew up admiring the way they were designed and built, their elegant but practical dual sport bikes, even the logo. Then I started to notice how people actually drive them! Eeesssh.
