Sometimes it be like that.

I saw this last week with a friend of mine who is an awards-show voter (I tell him that I love him for his screeners). I loved it. I agree with much of this review, although I might have scored it a bit higher, maybe in the A- or B+ range (especially when set against some of the movies that AV Club has given A grades

I think he knocked it out of the park in Fallout.

Plus no more Ezra Miller headaches.

It is really hard to watch him be really charismatic as a spy in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and then see the DC movies just waste that talent by having a dour Superman who can’t be heroic because the script doesn’t want him to be.

He can’t, DC traded him to Marvel for Gunn, along with a 2023 first round pick and a conditional fourth rounder in 2024. It seems like a tough deal, but DC needed leadership, and Marvel had the Cap space for him after Evans left.

To go along with burying all traces of Song Of The South, I’ve sometimes wondered if it would be worthwhile for them to rebrand it in a way, specifically the Br’er Rabbit stories. Obviously, you’re leaving out the Uncle Reamus stuff, but the Br’er Rabbit stories go back to African folklore. And it was enslaved

One thing I like about Mike White’s shows is that while they are pretty brutal in showing everyone’s flaws, they also tend to have an enormous amount of empathy for the whole person...even for characters that other writers/shows use as punching bag villains. The couple opposite of Aubrey Plaza, for example, can

I was interested in checking this out for some schlocky “Down-home Stallone” but had no idea Terrence Winter was showrunning this. Between that and the review, I’m cautiously optimistic that it will hold my attention past the pilot.

The ratings dumpster fire that passes for SNL now needs DC a helluva lot more than he needs them. Quite a charitable chap, he is.

Gonna find it real hard not root for Namor. Dude looks so friggin’ cool.

Honestly I kinda agree? I loved Black Panther, and I absolutely understand and appreciate what it means to a lot of people since it was a huge cultural thing, and very, very important. But the actual movie itself, when you take away all of the significance and its impact, probably isn’t a top three MCU movie for me. I

My opinion - Boseman was good. But that first Black Panther movie was... not as great as many people want to claim.

Even if Shuri gets the torch, SHE believes in science, even if her actor doesn’t.

Audiences will delight as this panther of a movie slinks through the night! Take note, Blake Edwards, this is how you make a sequel after a star has passed. Coogler doesn’t need to resort to deleted scenes to make this kitty purr! Although the missus’ wouldn’t shut up about her confusion of Angela Basset/Shirley

You can actually block Trump. Always could. They really should do an article about the block feature because most people don’t know about it.

Free market, baby. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s a movie series for children”

Yeah, I mean, Daniel Radcliffe went on to really stretch and improve, and now he’s one of our more interesting stars...but any accomplished actor at Rickman’s level would have seen this gig as daycare back then.

LOL all because of Musk, it’s hilarious
