    Force Unleashed isn’t canon.

But none of those characters would work as villain of this story. Between Episodes 3 and 4 is the perfect time for Vader to be running around as the emperor’s enforcer, because that was always supposed to have been his role during that period.

It’s not a plot hole—this is only 5 years after the purge, and neither Cere nor Cal have much in the way of connections. They don’t know who Vader is yet.

The main problem with existing canon is Yoda specifically telling Luke that once he’s dead, Luke will be the last Jedi. They’ve kept it true, if only just: Ezra went MIA at the end of Rebels, Kanan bought it, and Ashoka had quit the order late in Clone Wars.

Personally, I didn’t take it that bringing back the Jedi would be bad, but that in that time and with them at its head it would go wrong. Cere, Cal and a couple dozen half-trained kids aren’t really up to going against the full might of the Empire, right?

Fair enough. I guess I just put less weight on reinventing the Fallout series than you. The series had been dormant for 10 years when Fallout 3 came out, the casualty of Interplay (largely) going out of business. Anyone who made a follow-up was going to have to modernize it, and that ended up being Bethesda.

    “...ideally from Bethesda.”

I can’t be the only person thinking that it’s weird that the first game after getting bought by Microsoft for this studio known for story-driven RPGs isn’t a story-driven RPG, right?

A story about animated video game porn and no mention of Overwatch?  Seems like a missed opportunity.

    ...Except the movies

Just you wait till his movie comes out.  Then there will be seven!

Put a fork in Anthem, it’s done.  Bioware too, probably.  That’s a shame.

Normal person who, because of an accident, becomes a superhero is at least 2/3rds of all superheroes.  It’s hardly unique to Spider-man.  And since it’s not unique to Spider-man (like, at all), I think we need a better/alternate reason why he’s so popular in Japan.

I agree 100% with this statement.  There was a lot I liked about 4th edition, but real issues too.  When 5th edition was in the works they just threw everything out.

I always liked the warlord.  “For my turn, Steve, hit that guy real hard.”

I know everyone hates 4th edition, but it did at least make rangers useful.

Exactly this.  What the hell is going on with Thor’s cape in this game?  And Cap’s outfit just looks awful.

Unless Chris Nolan’s version of Batman is a real guy, I didn’t criticize anyone for being fascistic.

I think I’d take Ernest Goes to Camp over the Dark Knight Rises.

No, but you said you’d seen a lot. This isn’t about Endgame, or even the MCU particularly, just the lionizing of Nolan’s grim, fascistic take on Batman.
