Blame? Canada!

Jesus... that first “GONG” noise and my whole body tingles.

/Leans over to Ash78: This post gives me a hard-on.

During the 80s, the Hollywood profitability ratio was 12 to 1. We made $12 of ticket money for every one of ours spent. During the 90s, that ratio fell to 3 to 1. Our filmmakers had become dependent upon experimentation. They had lost some of their recycling skills. Now, Top Remake was created to teach ACM...

This movie is going to full of plot holes, inaccuracies, and overall will probably be pretty stupid.

I’ll see it in theaters at least three times, I’m guessing.

Having lived in the Ford dealer world for many years, I still can’t get over how bad fomoco is at making good headlights. The Ranger, Exploder, Fiesta, F150, all have just embarrassingly bad lighting. An “average” rating is very generous here.

Maybe the Tesla should be smart enough to recognize an emergency vehicle and then reduce speed and be more cautious. How hard can it be to program it's cameras to recognize blue flashing lights? I mean, we might as well make the car do it since the operator wasn't capable of making the decision.

Tesla keeps running into emergency vehicles....  apparently the damn things can’t see flashing red lights.

Hope the dog is okay too, the owner can go to the pound though.

A little ruff but otherwise good.

Jesus, Torch. I read the entire thing, and you missed the biggest piece of info.

So how’s the dog?

Holy crap there are scary piles of rust and wheels that drive around (some how) with Wisconsin plates. Also you can bet good money that the driver doesn’t have insurance and wont stop after causing an accident unless the car has been completely disabled

Mass does a pretty comprehensive inspection. Annoying at first, but once you drive around here for a while and realize the road isn’t covered with deathtrap cars you start to appreciate that this stuff gets flagged. The last 2 wheel bearings I did were only noticed by the yearly inspection because they were just

Ah yes, locktite. Just the thing you need when OEM torque specification is not enough*.

*not used

This is why states have annual inspections.

I used to hate inspections here in NY, but I got a little more context after the first few times visiting my wife’s family in Michigan. After seeing lots of wrecked but still driving cars and broken down nuggets abandoned on the sides of the highways, I’ve decided safety inspections make sense.

This is why states have annual inspections. Some people are idiots, but others have no reason to take their car to a shop for ball joins, wheel bearings, & tie rods because most people don’t know how to identify when those parts are worn. And it’s not like they have the skill or know how to jack up the car and check
