I found that it was off by only a couple of days, for the most part. I can’t remember exactly which “start” date worked the best, but I know it wasn’t the suggested date. I had 2 different due dates, they changed it at my 2nd ultra sound.

Me! I left the classroom due to burn out and the feeling that it just wouldn’t get better. That criticism is fair on other articles. I agree that they could use more coverage of his time in Toronto. However, it doesn’t make sense on THIS article that is from the perspective of a Philadelphia fan. There’s nothing wrong with us mourning him and celebrating his accomplishments while here.

Go ahead...you can tell us what he meant to Toronto. Why do you expect someone that had no experience with that to write about it? This is a Phillies fan writing about his experiences, I doubt he would be able to capture what Doc meant to the Blue Jays. He was able to capture Philly’s perspective because he lived it.

And the Jays did what to give him the respect and chance to win? Oh...nothing.

Did he pitch a perfect game in Toronto? Did he throw a no-hitter in the playoffs in Toronto? Did Toronto give him a team to win with?
