Yeah, no. There is an answer. The answer is 9. The facts surrounding that have been explained. It’s the lack of math literacy that leads to people not understanding why the answer is 9. Our math education has focused too much on procedure and not enough on meaning.

Then your assuming wrong. The absence of a multiplication symbol makes no difference. It’s the use of the obelus vs. fraction bar that changes the meaning of the equation.
