I’ve been posting that for years to DUAN. The dirtbombs are one of those great Detroit rock bands with great albums. But this song.....

Now playing

Happy Friday DUANistas. Dirtbombs - Ever Lovin’ Man. I’ve posted this a thousand times. It rocks.

Yeah, all this really tells me is none of these guys work with women. There’s nothing noble about refusing to eat lunch with a coworker.

Don’t worry, by next year Lars will convince the other guys to take a residency deal at one of the casinos, just like Britney and Celine.

I never thought I’d be saying that W isn’t the worst president of my lifetime. Also, he may have been in someone’s pocket but at least he was bought and paid for by an American company instead of some Russian one. That’s true patriotism.

I live in Southern California. People here frequently drive and fly to Vegas, and it is one of the main places people get away to. There will be plenty of Raiders fans traveling for the games, because many of them go to Vegas anyways.

“I honestly believe when the Raiders play here more than half the stadium will be rooting for the other team,” Foley said.

To be fair, Candlestick was presumable a better place to see a ballgame back before they enclosed it for football as well:

And Golden State didn’t even have the generosity to at least name themselves Oakland for their stay. I hear they are considering changing back to the San Francisco Warriors once they move back.

Definitely not. If the experience brings you joy commensurate to the amount of the money you spend, then it was money well spent.

I’m a Giants fan, but I went to a few games there before Mt Davis and all I can remember is how beautiful it was. Compared to Candlestick.

Say what you want about Mark Davis’ appearance, but you can’t deny he comes out of this looking like a very smart man.

They should turn Oracle into one GIANT grow room. That’d pay the debt off in no time. Oaksterdam, baby!

Can the guy who drums during baseball games move with the Raiders?

Losing two teams in quick succession is something else. Has a city lost two major sports teams like this before?

Believe it or not, the cost to convert the stadium from football to baseball and back in September/October is higher than any financial benefit they receive from the Raiders playing 10 games there.

No way the Giants let them play at ATT park. They don’t want to be messing with building/removing the mound, dirt, etc during potential playoff games.

The 49ers’ stadium in Santa Clara.

No way they play at Cal memorial stadium. Local neighbors barely tolerate Cal playing there, they aren’t gonna let the Raiders waltz into town.

I miss when comedians were allowed to make us uncomfortable.
