No argument from me.
No argument from me.
Nah, LA residents who fall in the NFL’s target demographic (Males 18-49) definitely know how close Vegas is, since it’s already a regular weekend road trip. They also know that Interstate 5, while not exactly paradise, is much less “volatile” in terms of transit times, than Interstate 15 is, due to construction.
Roger Goodell really made a hash of this relocation episode. I’m really surprised; he’s so competent at everything else.
So Al Michaels can legally hold up his betting slip during the broadcast and scream “c’mon you fuckers!!”
Mad Max style caravan through the desert every sunday.
Oakland is further away from LA than Las Vegas. If anything, this means hardcore Raider fans can make weekend trips to Vegas for the games. That drive is easy, at at the end of it, you are in Vegas.
The Raiders situation is quite a bit different than other NFL team looking for a stadium, and Mark Davis isn’t a billionaire. You should know all this already.
(Checks) 49ers, Chargers and Rams.
They could get 3000 fans in Burner Phone Soccer Stadium instead of the predicted 1200.
After months of gross negotiations between craven billionaires, what was all but official is reportedly one step…
The Democratic party had best do something because right now it’s doing nothing and it’s professed care about PoC on social issues doesn’t match what it does for PoC when it comes to economic issues. I don’t need politicians who say the right things about civil rights then allow employers to screw me in ways that doesn…
How dare you bring facts into this.
“Who in the hell is this Democrat-come-lately to scold Democrats on all they’ve done wrong?”
I can think of another new symbol that more accurately gauges fan interest
Is this the sequel to Bioshock Infinite?
As I resident of Los Angeles and a NFL fan who’s interest is already on the decline, I can say without a doubt that I could give zero shits about the Chargers or the Rams. Things were so nice when we had no team, I hope this fails spectacularly for both teams.
Ethical guidelines exist for a reason. Norms exist for a reason.
This, absolutely. I never saw Rams gear in Los Angeles until they announced they were returning. I saw Raiders gear a lot throughout the entire 15 years I’ve lived here. I realize the NFL like Kroenke’s stadium better, but Raiders was the right move if they cared about fan excitement.
Whaddya mean? This is a sellout.
Hindsight... LOL!!
