Thanks Trudeau

American University’s Liam Purdy won the Patriot League 800-meter indoor title on Sunday

Relevant since Obama tabled the raid gingerhammered was referring to because it was too risky.

Oh, exactly...Obama’s wars. How could I forget when 9/11 happened on his watch so he went to war in Afghanistan in 2001; and then when he declared a Global War on Terror and went into Iraq in 2003 (which totally did 9/11 and had nukes) way back when he was actually President George W. Bush. And then when he got an

Peace is great.

After the way the Trump Administration bungled the Holocaust Remembrance Day remarks, I fully expect his Black History Month remarks to focus on how everybody suffered during slavery, and we should also remember the slaveholders, who lost a lot of wealth when their property was emancipated.

Or she underestimated the odds of the FBI pulling an unheard-of ratfucking a week before the election. She was on track for a blowout before that, dissatisfied leftists and all. Going forward, it matters a whole lot more if the FBI is launching coups than if ex-politician Hillary Clinton’s strategy was sub-optimal.

She’s an intelligent person who has spent the majority of her adult life in public service. In terms of virtue and decency, she wouldn’t have much competition from the vast majority of former presidents, low a bar as that might be.

I voted for Clinton and I am a paragon of virtue and human decency.

I mean, the wealth gap had begun to narrow under Obama, albeit not nearly as quickly as progressives would like, but assuming she more or less stayed the course with Obama’s economic plans and team, I don’t see any reason to believe that things would have cratered economically.

Uh, but what about that one where they talked about different strategies to win the election?

He will still vote for the Republicans in 2018. They bitch and complain about their politicians as we do with ours, but unlike us, they always show up on voting day.

There are still perfectly normal, rational people within the GOP - take Nicole Wallace and Evan McMullin. I disagree with both of them all the time, but I disagree based on different priorities/a different reading of the facts. These people are not that, nor the people choosing to enable them.

Now playing

I know this is off-topic, but this is really important, y’all. It’s one of the few remaining ways we have to fight “the right-wing’s beloved, dust-matted can of expired Cheez Whiz” (apt comparison courtesy JE Reich).

I seriously don’t know how to fight something like this.

Okay. But why are people who are voting for jobs and the economy voting for Trump? The two things holding our economy back are wages and taxes. Raise the minimum wage to stimulate growth and tax top earners to balance our commitments.

Marginalizing people who did not go to college is not going to help the Democratic party, either.

So a Brazillian guy with an Egyptian name plays an American sport commonly confused with a European game of the same name, playing for a city whose name is shared between 2 different states? Oman, then he hits a Pole to win? Kenya believe it?

Im going to guess his family is a bunch of right wing Christian bigots and he isnt. He used to be super Christian and I dont know if he still is but Ill always remember him accosting a Green Bay fan for saying “Fuck Islam”. That tell’s me that he isnt some puppet of the born agains in this country. His family on the
