You clearly never looked at the photo of Obama in the same room during the bin Laden raid. Very clearly staged with lines that meet just so to look impressive, tense, and strong. It was like an Art History class in a nut shell.

I imagine Wakandan design isn’t as suited for mass production as something from Stark Industries. Stark has built weapons for whole armies. Wakanda provided technological tools for select groups and its agents.

Argh, I was kinda hoping it be based on Stephen Baxter’s Proxima novel which also features a colonization ship named Ad Astra. However the colonists (convicts from Earth) end up calling their new home in the Proxima Centauri system Per Ardua, which is the other part of that phrase.

Buc-ee’s used to be just the one “travel center” in Luling between San Antonio and Houston(with a small gas station in Lake Jackson, south of Houston). It was an amazing place even then.

From the film festival reviews, it sounds like it was very good. I still want to see it, but I continue to wonder how it can be engaging.

I would love a show set in the ‘cosmic horror’ genre. Basically take the Lovecraftian horror stories of cosmic beasts and stuff, and tell that. Xfiles, but scarier and more disinterested. People go insane. Mind shatter.
