Totally unrelated, but MGB roadsters have 3 wipers, too. And they're backwards (because British car).

That's funny; I'm not really a Jerry Seinfeld fan, but I really don't like the Seinfeld sitcom. It's pretty much just....meh. I could take it or leave it. However, this show (Comedians in Cars...etc) I dig. And I don't mind his stand-up stuff.

I can't believe we still have to tell people this. Jacks are for lifting; jack stands are for holding.

That's handy, but without a plate it's going to be nearly impossible for someone to spot it. When was the last time you looked at the VIN of another person's car, let alone one that has been stolen (which means the perp doesn't exactly want anyone close to them).

Yep, they're sexy. Easy to work on, too! You should check out http://www.mgexp.com/. Quite a few cars for sale up there, mostly from good owners, and an amazing forum of very nice folks.

They're addictive. There's a '71 MGB GT sitting in my garage, and another '70 MGB GT at my dad's, which is next to a '59 Bugeye.

Yeah, Bugeye's where only around from 58-61 (aka the Mark I Sprite). After that they went with "normal" bodywork up front, though everything else is virtually the same. Later models benefited from larger engines, too.

    All true!

Too bad it's not the Bugeye, though. They switched to the more conventional bodywork in '62 with the Mark II. (Edit: Strike that, it doesn't have the round rear arches even...getting my Sprites messed up)

Well, that might be true; I mean, he does own a Bronco... Then again, I also don't know what led up to his outburst.

Yeah, I know the bank takes a cut, but I can't imagine a scenario where the dealer gets jacked to the tune of 50+%.

    Completely entire!

That's not really the point, is it? I mean, if you can afford only $9k, then you don't go shopping for something that's the seller is asking $25k for. Even if that something isn't worth $25k, just move on and offer your $9k to someone with an $11k Bronco instead.

Obviously he didn't realize that, even if it's financed, you still get your money. It's not like the bank takes 50% just because someone used their financing...

    Now playing

Came here to post about Irish Road Racing, was happy to see I was beaten to the punch. Here's a video.

Anecdote time — I used to stage rally with a guy named Vance Walker. I believe this is a story he told once. I might get some details wrong — it was neigh-on 15 years ago I heard this.

Someone has an excellent lens and a really fast shutter speed...

Yes, exactly. Watching that is like watching an animated GIF cranked up to silly speed. At that speed, to take the bend in the Mulsanne, Bell almost doesn't even have to move the wheel. It's like he just thinks about turning right, and it does.

How about this: The FBI uses fewer drones to watch US citizens than it does manned planes.
