Yeah, there are days when I wish I had my previous commute for winding down after a long day. 25 miles of twisty country back roads, in the early afternoon when most other traffic is still at work.

My neighbor has a friend who owns one, so about every other month I see it show up out front of his house. They use it for a variety of heavy lifting activities, from taking stuff to the dump to moving furniture.

We may have the largest single Navy and Air Force in the world, but what happens if/when everyone gangs up on us?

I've heard folks complain about D.C. Metro's system before, but they apparently haven't lived places where there isn't a good public transit system.

    I found this part interesting:

Oh yeah, I got you beat: I live in a one-story, so I don't even get the thrill of stairs! No possibility for a missed step to get the old adrenaline going. Just walk 20 feet down the hallway.

Agreed, I was thinking 3,500 deaths per train per year sounded more likely...

    Insurance fraud.

A good point. And (relatively) cheap, too!

Exactly what I was thinking. That's a tanker, man, who knows what it's hauling. Get that guy out of there.

Do it sooner, rather than later. Prices aren't going down, and they sure ain't making any more of 'em.

I must confess, I didn't finish watching it. It was...disturbing.

I'll see your nuts, and raise you Russian crazy.

Awesome. I was a little more delicate when I pulled the motor out of the wife's Civic last weekend. I also did it the "wrong" way and took it out the top (they were designed to be dropped out the bottom, as in the video, only not so abruptly). But I was concerned about clearance in the my garage, and it was raining

In reality, everyone should buy 20 year old Honda's. Check this math, with some generalizations:

That's exactly what I was thinking. Slow...but so much fun.

As was I. Glad to find other like-minded folks already on the case.

He didn't film the car driving backwards, or reverse the aft cam. Look at 0:13 on the video, and you'll see the huge wing mounted on the front.

Standard fare for a rally. You should see if you can find the "Crash Kings of Rallying" series of videos.
