A phone would achieve terminal velocity super fast, so the falls would be essentially the same. Somewhere between 30 and 40mph in less than two seconds. This one just landed on soft vegetation.

Even if it was single player only the gameplay footage looked like four skins of the same character super jumping around and unloading boring guns into locked-on targets.  It looked like a less fun Saint’s Row 4 sequel or something.  I don’t want to play as King Shark if he’s holding a damn rifle.  He’s a shark man.

If Barbie hasn’t got any features then how come I’ve been reading about how they’re unreleastic and set dangerous precedents for little girls since the dang 80s.

Maybe, but Killers of the Flower Moon is in there too and boy is that the exact sort of thing the Oscars voters tend to love.

It’s literally because the original screenplay category this year is weak and if it could have been squished in there it might have won. If that category was stronger no one from AVC to Judd Apatow would have said shit.

For me the big takeaway here is that Adapted Screenplay is apparently a lesser, undesirable Oscar.

I mean I know it’s actually that there’s more competition in Adapted than in Original this year, but the vibe being presented by everyone is that an Adapted nod is a straight up insult.

How much did having your loved ones ashes as a touching tribute on the moon cost per person?  What’s the current street value of touching tributes?

So you’d say that basically any movie that had more than one script draft is an adapted screenplay then?  I feel like your argument is stronger without that point.

In this case you didn’t need to know better.  The ducks thing is an old copypasta meme, it was originally just some rando’s tweet in like 2019, but it didn’t take long before it was being put over pictures of Tolkien or Big Boss from Metal Gear and stuff.  Jones is the most popular use case for the meme, but he never

Yeah, generally you just shouldn’t shave a kid.

All that other shit is correct but you decided to pick this one little dumbfuck of a fight, huh?  I’m sure it’ll be a real big help to the discussion of how we’re essentially legislating teenage life out of existence if we can just nail down the exact and correct cost of movie tickets.

Yeah, it’s made direct that Murdock’s business space is cheaper because of the Chitauri invasion, and at one point Jessica gets mad at being lumped in with super people by saying “If you hate people with powers take it up with the big green guy and the flag waver.”

Does it count if it’s in the same movie?  Because Dormammu... I’ve come to bargain.

I just checked a different analyst and he said it could cost 500 dollars and the games could each cost the first peach of summer.

I wouldn’t even call that mode “easy” since it’s not inherently difficult if you fail those rolls, it’s just a luck thing.  You’re not worse at the game if you keep rolling 1s.

There’s a list that goes around right wing twitter circles that is ostensibly the “flight log” but it’s unsourced and is clearly just a big list of someone’s political enemies and left-wing types.  He’s on there, but like so is every famous liberal you’ve ever heard of.  That’s why.

Unless you’re Kissinger.

Low budget horror is the cheapest thing that is still mainstream enough for you to hear about.  There’s probably also Steamboat Willie porn and some shitty short novels and stuff, but no one cares to report on or make commercials regarding those.

Ugh, every time a hardcore MMO fan describes what they like about it sounds like they don’t get enough bullshit real world capitalism at home. Oh, you gotta pay your rent on time! Have to camp for materials because the economy is powered by the kind of guy that can play this game for 43 hours without noticing his kid

The show’s final shot is literally her failing, so...

Like she’s obsessively using the Darkhold to track down their alternate selves in another dimension, in full witch mode. And that was the show. And the show people have stated that they didn’t take any mandates from the movie people. They were just on the same page.
