Yet another of Obama’s “postpartisan” conciliation/pity appointments that has completely backfired on the country.

Unfortunately he’s specifically killing people in blue states. And if everybody in NYC dies, maybe he even turns New York State red. That’s the strategy.

Libertarianism is a totally bullshit philosophy, instantly abandoned by its adherents the first time they taste actual power. I was one when I was 17. The only consistent thing about it is, “I’m white and I’m male and I’m special, give me all the goodies and get out of my way!” All libertarians are assholes, and

20% of the stimulus bill is cash payments to ordinary schlubs.

My brother went from libertarian to Trumpie at the first opportunity, and in 2016 proudly described himself to me as a white nationalist. I talked to him a week ago; he is getting laid off from his job over this, and has no skills to get another one.

You can’t claim you’re “further left” than Bernie and then say you fully supported Hillary and don’t like “What Bernie did to her”.

Obama ran, more than any other Democratic candidate in the past 20 years, as the candidate of the hidden bipartisan coalition. He was not a proud Democrat, he was “postpartisan.” That seemed to have helped him.

Your overconfidence is your weakness.

We found the same thing: what we thought was important and what we spent the most money on for our new baby ended up being completely irrelevant. A lot of parenting is like buying a beautiful new bed for a cat and having it spend all its time in the cardboard shipping box instead. The best advice I can give to new

So true. The people who complain the most are people who have money to spare and time to spend on complaints, and letters, and media campaigns. Those who are working themselves to death can’t make time to call politicians or show up to town halls or sit in midwestern diners all morning until a New York Times reporter

I have written a large number of comments here that were highly critical of Joan Summers’ writing.

Was it our woefully underqualified Health and Human Services secretary Alex Azar?
