This is one of my most upvoted Kinja comments, and yet it’s entirely positive and supportive and has zero snark. What a weird lesson to learn. Maybe I should try another... Someday.

Is that real? At first I thought it was obviously a funny Photoshop, but I also thought that about Trump’s letter to Erdogan and several other things, and they all turn out to be true. 

Yeah, I really wished for something like this when my kid asked me to play “Old Town Road,” a song I’d never heard of but which he already knew by heart based on hearing other kids singing it all summer long. That was the oldest I’ve ever felt, musically. 

This is just a little speech impediment.

All REAL movies need to have extremely stereotypical Italians makin-a-the-sauce and a-shootin-other-Italians-inna-da-face, and (for a brand new twist on the genre) occasionally shooting people of slightly different ethnicities: Jewish people maybe, or even an Irishman! We should constantly thank Coppola and Scorcese…

1993 is an atypical year even in the 1990s though. Check out 1992 or 1991 or 1995 for years that are filled with sequels, remakes, and “shared universe” stories (what a weird disqualifier to throw in there BTW).

1) very popular, and
2) a total genre movie

Oh dear God, it’s insane that we live in a world that’s been defined by “mobster movies are great art,” especially when someone can watch a dumb mobster movies 1000 times and say superhero movies are not sophisticated enough for them.
