I appreciate the thought that clearly went into deciding the wear level for each mat. No one sits behind the driver if they have another option.

VW 2025 - Floormat-gate investigation, for faking information to goverment agencies.

How does Audi measure floormat wear?

Exactly.

It was a Rimowa, which is a high-end luggage brand that usually costs several hundred dollars... Reed never received the suitcase, was quickly refunded his payment of $700, and then went to Neiman Marcus to purchase it there instead.

And Amazon isn’t the party under scrutiny in this situation? Hmm.

Aaaargh, never put money out of pocket down on a lease, people!!!!!!

No, this is not capitalism. This is raw greed. There is a difference. No matter the financial system that we live in we all should have a decent amount of respect for each other that we won’t blatantly rip each other off and then brag about it and say the other person was happy to get ripped off. Bologna Sandwich,

I hope no one close to PBJoe ever gets swindled like this. I mean it probably won’t phase him since he doesn’t have an ounce of empathy, but yeesh... Talk about someone who has zero ability to self-reflect.

You honestly feel good making people spend more than they need to? That’s the definition of taking advantage of someone for your own personal gain.

She wasn’t happy to spend her money, she was happy that she got the truck she wanted for her husband. Then she got taken advantage of. Doesn’t matter either way, a person with some sort of common courtesy should have stepped up and said “Ma’am we’d love to take your money but this truck is not that expensive.” Greed

Taking advantage of people with money is the best, isn’t it?

Not for long they don’t. A good percentage of my clients have been ripped off like this by dealerships and won’t ever go back. There’s a difference between making a good profit and straight up ripping someone off.

...what’s $2000 extra spent for a car compared to a lifetime of owning the perfect vehicle?

Yeah...if you buy one, drive it for a year or so, you can basically resell for the same amount that you bought it.

Oh no, you got a rare, highly sought after car for under suggested retail price? What a terrible deal.

I fucking love the FJ cruiser. Fully intend a good condition used one (probably a flight to the SW rather than trying to buy one here in NE) as my next car in 5-ish years, just couldn’t justify such a big vehicle with my current commuting/parking situation.

In 2010 I came to Colorado from Texas for a long week in a ‘99 Wrangler. The Jeep broke on the trail, but I was in love with the mountains. I sold the Wrangler and started looking for jobs in Denver.
